Oath of Iron

The Oath of Iron, also known as the Maschenan Concordat, was the treaty reached in the year 62 CC between the Empire of Gwenith and Maschenya that annexed Maschenya and the Maschenan Territories into the Gwenithen Empire. It established the two religions policy, allowing the Maschenans to practice Nischalism in addition to Versatianism. It declared Maschenya a Special Province of the Gwenithen Empire and allowed for the administration of the Maschenan Territories, and certain other nearby territories by the Grand Council in Lanecyu rather than Ahnren.
